This law firm was founded in 2023 to meet the growing need for knowledgeable, dedicated representation in surplus funds recovery across North Carolina. As foreclosure rates rose and property values increased, more and more homeowners found themselves entitled to excess proceeds after foreclosure — but without clear guidance on how to claim them.

I built this practice to fill that gap. Many property owners are unaware that they may have money waiting for them with the Clerk of Court, or they encounter legal obstacles such as competing claims, judgment liens, or missed notice requirements. My mission is to ensure that these cases are handled with accuracy and care, so clients receive the funds that belong to them.

From day one, the firm has been focused exclusively on surplus funds and foreclosure-related matters. Before founding this firm in 2023, I spent more than thirteen years as a civil litigator, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of legal areas. That background prepared me to handle the unique challenges surplus funds cases present. I understand how to read title records, challenge improper claims, and advocate effectively before the Clerk of Court and, when necessary, in open court.
